We can’t do a feature post about what to do with everything pumpkin without doing a foot and body scrub.  As I said in the feature post, my skin has been screaming for mercy lately because of all the dryness this fall weather is causing.

This foot and body scrub doesn’t really look appetizing and I bet doesn’t really taste that good either… but it is so wonderful to bring moisture back to the skin and soothe the burning itching caused by my super sensitive skin and the weather.

So this is what you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkinolive grape canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon used coffee grounds, cooled (optional)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Pomeian olive Extra

Okay mix everything together.  Grab plastic wrap – or plastic grocery bags and your favorite fuzzy socks.  This is a great body scrub as well. A little goes a long way. You do not have to smother yourself with it to get the benefits.  Scrub this on your body before you get into the shower and rinse it off.  DO NOT SCRUB YOUR BODY AND FEET AT THE SAME TIME.  This is very slippery. If you scrub your body only do to your knees. Rinse off in the shower.  No soap needed.  Dry off and then sit down and do your feet.  No injuries needed, here!

Put your foot on plastic wrap or bag before applying. keeps the mess at bay.

Just a few fingers full will cover your whole foot and leg up to your knee.  Make sure to scrub any dry spots on the bottom of your foot.   Then wrap the plastic over your foot and up your leg as far as it will go.   Then put on your fuzzy sock before doing the other foot.

The scrub inside the plastic is very slippery. Sit back, relax and enjoy some soup for 20 minutes or so.

Once you are wrapped and socked. Sit back relax and enjoy a nice bowl of Pumpkin and butternut squash soup. and marvel at how good the pumpkin made you feel, inside and out!
