A great GhostBusters clip Circa 1984 (I love that movie!)  I read a post from Julie, at The Nocturnal Laundress, about how sufferers with FM/ME/CFS’s brains are unable to keep out the over pummeling of stimuli in the brain.   Essentially there are gates in our brains that help to keep the over stimulation of life in today’s modern world at a manageable level in brains of people without FM/ME/CFS.

However, in our brains – the search for the gatekeeper proves to be useless.

Julie originally re-blogged the original post from someone, who re-blogged it from Health Rising. So in the interest of tidiness I am re-blogging the original article.  Despite the confusing medical mumbo-jumbo disbursed throughout the article, the general gist of it is informing and enlightening behind the Why, to these crazy diseases.  If we have the Why, then the How to do something about it is right around the corner, right?
